Shad0kin (of Equinox) wanted to make a single-print, Star Citizen themed, custom mousepad for JR and a comfy blanket for Kals of JRDF as gifts. Shad0kin asked me to make the artwork for these prints since I had helped with a few of EQNX mousepads and blankets in the past.
The Hammerhead was the common theme between the two prints. JR LOVES his Hammerhead and Kals does not… she prefers the Fury.
Just like my work with the JRDF box art, I used many in-game screenshots that I captured specifically for this project and a lot of work in Photoshop to create these.
JR’s Mousepad: HMS Thunder Child
Here is JR’s mousepad art. JR isn’t a huge fan of Origin… so his HMS Thunder Child is tearing apart a fleet of Origin ships. The final art needed to be 35.5″ x 16.5″ at 300 ppi.
